Our summerhouses are unique using a mixture of found, salvage and antique components.
The summerhouse on the left and middle was in Harrods as part of their Fantasy Gardens exhibition last year. This summerhouse is made with the door and windows from a Georgian shop front, with the original hand blown glass, panelling and floor from a Victorian mill and a cedar shingle roof. It measures 9 foot wide by 6 foot 6 inches deep and has been beautifully finished. It has insulation and a power point for winter use.
The summerhouse on the right was made almost entirely from materials salvaged in Battersea. The windows are from Battersea Bridge Theatre, a former church hall that was demolished last year. The panelling is Victorian and from a cobblers shop in Old York Rd. and the door from a house in Surrey Lane.
